“BEGINNINGS” is a short, illustrated book that recreated in printed form a tape recorded recollection of Virginia Thelin, Paul M. Angell’s sister. It vividly recounts life in rural Iowa at the beginning of the twentieth century. At the time of its publication the book was distributed to every surviving descendant of the Angells. It is presented here, in its entirety, in digital form.
